Well, what a month that was..... A great way to end the year for our club and its members.

We started off December with an insightful and entertaining talk from Mike Lawrence. He explained how to use Lightroom Classic to edit photographs. I'm sure everyone who was there has made some steps forward in their postproduction work as a result.

We will certainly be having Mike back for another talk in 2025.

Our last meeting of the year took place in the cafe. We used the evening to look forward to 2025 and how our club and its membership can move forward together. We spent time discussing the new Salon season, including rules and regulations, how to enter and log multiple entries. Many members have now submitted entries into the Southport Photographic Exhibition 2025.

Thanks to Alan and his family for looking after us at the cafe throughout 2024

So now we enter 2025 and look forward to what it might bring for us. The prospects are exciting.

We have some excellent guest speakers lined up. A variety of photo shoots and trips out are being planned. We will announce them throughout the year once they are confirmed.

We also hope to enter the L&CPU regional competitions for the first time, an exciting prospect for us as a new club. It will be a measure of how we are progressing as a club and as individual photographers.
